Bree Bird's Childcare Experience

Hummingbirds is a continuation of the in home daycare I ran in Olympia, WA before moving here to MI.  In addition, my personal and work experience in this field includes: adoring and babysitting kids since age twelve, four years of working in a child care center (ages infant to five), two years of being a full time “nanny” for a family of three, and my now ten years of personal mothering experience. 

As a mother, I have taken many parenting education classes and have organized and participated in a "Home School Pre-school" cooperative, as well as cooperative schooling at The Olympia Community School.  I would also include in my related experience the time I have spent as a client of Puddle Jumpers Family Child Care. It is there that I learned the splendid significance of having a place to send my children where I could trust that they would be loved, encouraged and supported at the times when either I could not be with them, or I knew they needed more than just me.
